This month we continue on with our Dear Canada series with No Safe Harbour the fictional story of a young girls experience of the Halifax Explosion, a real life tragedy that left thousands of casualties in the city of Halifax.

The book is written as the diary of young Charlotte Blackburn and through her voice we hear how her family is devastated by the explosion and the journey Charlotte and her twin brother go through to find family again.
